Job Summary: 

The COO is a key executive leader responsible for overseeing the company’s day-to-day operational functions, ensuring high efficiency and alignment with strategic goals. This role is critical in scaling operations, optimizing performance, and managing hiring to enhance Ansergy’s growth and market position. The COO will work closely with the CEO and the executive team, providing leadership across operational strategy, product, customer service, and post-acquisition integration.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership

  • Oversee daily operational activities, ensuring efficient processes across markets and departments. 
  • Implement scalable systems, policies, and best practices to drive operational excellence, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor KPIs and metrics, utilizing data-driven insights to enhance productivity, streamline workflow, and increase customer satisfaction.

Financial Management

  • Collaborating closely with finance, in strategic financial management, financial planning, meticulous budgeting, and resource allocation. 
  • Align financial strategies with the company’s growth objectives, ensures optimal use of resources, contributing to the organization’s financial sustainability and resilience in a dynamic business environment.
  • Create cohesion between organizational leaders and a more diverse knowledge base to inform decisions, leading to smoother organizational functions. 
  • Align short-term and long-term strategies with company acquisition goals

Cross-functional Coordination 

  • Partner with the CEO and other executives to align operational initiatives with overall business strategy, sales goals, and financial targets.
  • Drive close collaboration with product development, IT, and customer service teams to optimize product delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Foster a strong culture of communication, accountability, and teamwork across all levels of the organization.
  • Manage Strategic Alliances with key partners.

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Develop and implement long-term operational strategies in line with Ansergy’s growth trajectory and mission.
  • Support the CEO in crafting and executing strategic plans, including annual operating plans, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Analyze market trends, regulatory impacts, and emerging technologies, identifying new opportunities for operational innovation and improvement.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Energy Markets, Business, Software Development, Operations Management, and related fields.
  • 10+ years of experience in energy information technology.
  • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and foster a culture of operational excellence.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking, with experience in driving metrics-based improvements and making data-informed decisions.
